Do’s & Don’ts: Choosing The Right Coffee Table For Your Curved Sofa
1. Don’t opt for a rectangular or square-sized coffee table for your curved sofa.
2. Instead, look for a rounded edge that compliments the curve of your sofa.
3. A circular coffee table is a perfect choice.
4. This allows for ease of flow and is aesthetically pleasing.
Do’s & Don’ts: Styling Your Mantlepiece
1. Don’t place accessories in a line on the mantlepiece.
2. Refrain from placing the tallest accessory in the middle.
3. Instead, it’s best to group them together in three sections.
4. You can easily create balance by having taller items on both edges and a smaller item in the centre.
5. To achieve this look, use candle holders in different sizes, a decorative vase with greenery and a decorative bowl.
How To: Create A Gallery Wall
1. Start by planning your layout on the ground before committing to the design on the wall.
2. You can use this as a guide for colour scheme, measurements and final layout.
3. Try to mix different shapes, sizes and colours for the ultimate look.
4. If you want to break up the design with something other than a frame, add a wall decoration in another varying shape.
5. Keep the gallery wall within the width of an accompanying sideboard.
6. Finally, decorate your sideboard with accessories that accent your art colour scheme to tie the whole look together.
Do’s & Don’ts: Styling With Colour - Accessories Edition
1. Avoid using accessories that are all the same colour when styling your home.
2. Instead, break it up with accent pieces that work with your chosen colour scheme to create visual balance.
