Maintenance: Oil Stain Wood with Lacquer Finish Care

This table is crafted from solid wood and is finished with a protective oil treatment followed by a lacquer coating. This combination enhances the natural beauty of the wood while providing a durable,protective surface.
The table can be sanded if required. However, sanding will remove both the lacquer coating and the original oil stain applied during manufacture. This may alter the colour of the wood and reduce the durability and protection provided by the original finish.
Regular oil treatment is not required while the lacquered surface remains intact. The table should only be re-oiled if the lacquer finish has been completely removed through sanding or refinishing.
For daily care, use a firmly wrung slightly damp cloth with water followed by a dry cloth, to dry any excess moisture.
Remove dust from hardwood using a barely damp lint-free cloth (ideally microfiber). Dust, when not removed, will become abrasive and can damage the wood.
Wipe up any sticky areas or spills quickly using a barely damp microfiber cloth to avoid soakage. The cloth should contain only enough water to clean the area and should not leave any moisture or residue behind
Wipe down with a dry towel afterwards.

* Polishes, Chemical & disinfectant sprays should be avoided at all costs. *

Always use waterproof coasters and placemats for hot or cold drinks/plates.
