An atmospheric seascape that draws you in, True Blue by Ulyana Hammond honours her home on the Isle of Wight.
Boasting a colour palette of moody blues, subtle greys and moss greens, this print is a little understated and yet striking. A cluster of white cottages is set against an imposing dark sky, but the sea appears to be calm. You sense that a storm is coming to disturb the peaceful scene and yet you find yourself wishing that you could walk along the shore. The raised paper print is framed in grey and glazed. It would complement a variety of decorative schemes and could be grouped with further coastal compositions by Ulyana Hammond to create a memorable display.

Ulyana Hammond was born in St Petersburg, Russia. As a young artist, she was inspired by the stunning architecture of the city, but she was to move to the Isle of Wight where the beautiful coastline began to inform her work. True Blue perfectly captures a remote spot by the sea, and it isn’t hard to imagine Ulyana sitting across the bay, painting the scene in the muted light. Our home accessories range includes many wonderful framed prints and there’s a special piece to suit every space.
