Rules Of Interior Design - The Perfect Coffee Table Shape

1. If you have an L-shaped sofa, the ideal coffee table shape will either be round or square, preferably round for ease of flow. And for sizing it should be at least half to two-thirds the length of the inner sides.

2. If you have a sofa with a chaise on the end, it is very similar and should allow for ease of access by using round or square shapes. Again, it should be at least half to two-thirds the length of the inside. The only change would be if the chaise has an extra seat on the end, then there is an allowance to opt for a rectangular table.

3. For a standard 3-seater or 4-seater sofa, a rectangular or oval table will work best, the objection is to ensure that everyone can easily access the sofa and table without being obstructed in any way.

2. You shouldn’t choose a mirror that is too small otherwise you will need to crouch over to see your reflection.

3. Choose a mirror that is 1-2 inches shorter than the width of your dresser.

4. It’s just that EZ!

How To: Style A Cosy Deep Corner In Your Sofa

1. Start with a scattered throw as a base, and keep it close to hand.

3. Mix sizes, colours, shapes, and textures.

4. Top Tip: Pair your cushion cover with an insert that is 5cm larger than the cover for a plumper look.
