Perhaps you’re struggling with a career decision or are looking for help romantically, or maybe you just want to learn a little bit more about yourself. It’s not all doom and gloom here, regardless of what you might have assumed with our blog title, in fact, we’re associating personality traits of zodiac signs with our sought-after home accessories. And of course, because Halloween is almost upon us, we’ll also be discussing the negative characteristics linked to each star sign (and yes, we all have some - the horror!). The most important thing you need to know about a Libra is that they’re incredibly charming. There isn’t any other star sign quite like them, especially when it comes to social interactions. They prioritise people above all else and see the best in everyone. Libras are primarily people-pleasers, but that doesn’t mean they will always tell you what you want to hear. They have a strong sense of justice and want to make sure things are balanced and fair (hence the scales). Unfortunately though, prioritising fairness takes up a lot of their time. They’ll spend hours weighing up the pros and cons of everything, even the smallest of decisions. Their non-confrontational nature means they can be incredibly indecisive and unreliable. In general though, Libras love beautiful things - including themselves. They place great importance on appearance and can be critical of how other people look. So don’t be surprised if they are reluctant to hang out with you (they might feel as though you aren’t as attractive as them - ouch!). Taking that into consideration, the only reasonable accessory pick for a Libra is, of course, a mirror with a unique and eye-catching frame. Scorpio (24th October - 22nd November)

Scorpios are regularly misunderstood - it’s true! They might come across initially as intense, intimidating, and even harsh, but deep down they are extremely deep and emotional. A Scorpio is someone you should hope to have in your life, as they are the most loyal friends and partners you could ever ask for. Their independence and determination is unmatched by every other star sign which is why they tend to excel in the workplace. Because of their intense focus and powerful presence, they’re amazing at creating connections too! Really, they are just natural-born leaders. Still, it’s not all positive. They don’t like being challenged and if they feel as though they are being backed into a corner, they will sting (just like their scorpion symbol). Finally, Scorpios are incredibly stubborn, they know what they want (and like), and won’t be easily convinced to change their mind. Sagittarius (23rd November - 21st December)

Sagittarians are bright, breezy and full of energy. They love to feel free which is why they make such great travellers and explorers. They like discovering new things and won’t be restricted by schedules or even strict regulations. Sagittarians move at their own pace and would be the perfect companion for a wild weekend away, just don’t expect them to follow along with any rigid travel plans you’ve made. Again, just like all of the other star signs, they have their negative traits too. To put it bluntly, they have no filter. If you want an honest opinion, they’ll give it to you. They’ll tell you the whole unvarnished truth and in one way, this could be seen as a positive trait. They don’t sugar-coat anything, so you can be sure you’re getting a sincere opinion, but it might also leave you feeling very hurt. As their archer symbol might suggest, they shoot their arrow aiming to score and they don’t care who gets hurt. For Sagittarians, we have chosen the Crane Ornaments as an ode to their time travelling the globe.
Capricorn (22nd December - 20th January)

Capricorns are recognisable by their hardworking nature. They are trailblazers in the professional world (much to the dismay of Scorpios). They are incredibly ambitious which might also be why jealousy tends to follow them. Capricorns set out to achieve as much as possible in life and are driven to do their absolute best. While they may not be the most talented person in the room, they do work the hardest, which tends to make up for it. And that’s not all, Capricorns are driven in their personal lives too. Even if they are knee-deep in deadlines, they will go out of their way to help others, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows unfortunately. They sometimes lack empathy and patience and this comes from their inability to understand that not everyone works the same way they do. Although they are reliable in regard to their relationships, they do have a tendency to prioritise their needs over those of others. Aquarius (20th January - 18th February)

What can we say about Aquarians other than that they are incredibly unique? They are one of the only star signs on the list with what some might call “an eccentric personality”. You’ll often find them wearing unusual clothing or sporting a bizarre hairstyle, but this is only because they have more important matters to contend with i.e. campaigning. Aquarians are incredible activists and they really do care what happens to our planet. They want to make a difference in the world and they’ll stop at nothing to do it. But while Aquarians have many good qualities, it’s important to recognise their negative traits too. While they have a strong desire to create change, their need to challenge rules leads them to become quite rebellious and stubborn in nature. With that in mind, we decided the only accessory fitting for them was the Elephant Ornament above. The gold-finished piece would continue to remind them of their reasons for campaigning for environmental causes.
Pisces (20th February - 20th March)

Pisces generally assume a career in something artistic. They are incredibly creative and just full of imagination. They feel centred and enlightened by a wide variety of art forms whether that’s dance, music, writing, poetry, or acting. Really, it’s their ability to channel their emotions that makes them incredibly talented in these areas. They feel very deeply and are incredibly empathic, which also makes them a very good friend and an even better personal therapist. It’s not all good for a Pisces though, their ability to feel what others are going through means they often experience the emotion more deeply than the person going through it themselves. This can make them appear as attention-grabbing to others, but rest assured that this isn’t the case. Another common trait of a Pisces is their inability to control their imaginative side. You’ll often find them daydreaming because it can help them avoid reality. In keeping with their desire to avoid reality, we have chosen the Limitless Framed Canvases. Aries (21st March - 20th April)

Aries are recognisable by their “act first, think later” attitude. They allow themselves to get swept up in their passion and incredible competitiveness. Even when the task in question isn’t a competition, rest assured, they will turn it into one. Be warned, they might not always play fair either. Aries are ruthless in nature and they’ll do anything to win. Still, it’s not all bad, surprisingly they are known to be the most innocent and trusting of all the signs. Ask them a question and they’ll tell you everything you need to know…..and more! To perfectly represent an Aries, we have chosen the bold Vail Table Lamp because we think its black base and white shade could depict this sign’s ability to go from calm to furious in an instant.
Taurus (21st April - 21st May)

We’ll just say it, Taureans give a horrible first impression. It’s true! At first, they’ll come across as lazy and stubborn, but let us explain. They’re not lazy, Taureans just like to take their time to think things through fully. They are tireless machines and no matter what someone throws at them, they will inevitably overcome it because they’ve probably already prepared for every eventuality. They are normally pretty satisfied with the way things are. They crave and enjoy stability, but if challenged, they can appear stubborn because they aren’t too quick to change their views on things. Because they are such deep thinkers, we have chosen a cushion to make their time “thinking” much more comfortable. The Black Velvet Cushion above is the perfect choice for Taureans.
Gemini (22nd May - 21st June)

Where do we begin to describe a Gemini? Well, for one, they’re super adaptable. Geminis could be compared to a Chameleon because they can quickly and seamlessly change themselves to suit their environment. This is particularly beneficial for them as they generally tend to be stuck in everything. Geminis are interested in so many different things, but don’t be fooled. Instead of becoming an expert in these areas, they’ll learn just enough to get by, before moving on to the next thing that catches their eye. They’re clever but their interest rarely lingers long enough for them to excel. While adaptability is a great trait to have, it does mean that Geminis are also very changeable. You can never really be sure what Gemini you’ll be met with on any given day. They are either very attentive or don’t want to associate with you at all - there’s no in-between. Just make sure you don’t show any emotion around them, they really don’t have time for that. Everyone wants to be in the presence of a Cancer. They’re compassionate and sweet, making them some of the greatest friends you’ll ever have. A Cancer will listen and empathise, but they are also incredibly funny. Even if the mood is sombre, they can crack a joke and turn everyone’s mood right around. If you’re looking for a nurturing, sensitive, and loving individual, Cancers are the ones to seek out. Still, their emotional side doesn’t come without its negative side. They tend to be moody and snappy, especially when in a particularly sensitive and agitated state. We have chosen LED Candles for Cancers. Leo (23rd July - 22nd August)

Leos are typically known for their ambition and bravery. Their symbol “the lion” represents bravery but that’s not the only trait they are recognised for. Leos have a natural ability to shine. They are effortlessly theatrical and warm, charming, and generally great company. Though, it’s not all positive for Leos. For one, they cannot stand to be ignored. They believe they are the centre of the universe (which can be quite annoying for the people around them). They also assume a domineering role in almost every relationship they have and will demand respect whenever and wherever possible. Virgo (23rd August - 23rd September)

Virgos are the caregivers of the astrology world. They often put aside their own needs to look after others and they get great satisfaction from doing so! Their incredibly caring nature means that they make great nurses and parents. Virgos are also extremely organised and detail-orientated, though this can be to their detriment. They are obsessed with order and are highly critical of themselves and others when it comes to even the smallest of details.
