On the 6th of September, EZ Living Furniture had the pleasure of opening our 14th furniture store on the Naas Road, Drimnagh, Dublin. It was a very exciting day as the public welcomed us to their area and celebrated the grand opening with us. We had one goal in mind for the day and that was to give back to the community whilst getting to know our future customers and friends.
As Simon, the Naas Road’s manager cut the ribbon in the early hours of the morning, the store took on a new life of its own. Our sales team high fived one another whilst welcoming new customers instore with open arms, warm smiles, and the creamiest of cupcakes!
The EZ Living Furniture staff of the Naas road met wonderful people of all age groups throughout the day and it was lovely to be able to chat and exchange stories. Between the hours of 12-4 pm customers came from far and near to take part in our fast-paced competitions. “Ready Steady Set” saw customers undress and dress a bed whilst being timed. This created fierce excitement and heated competitions in store as the winner with the fastest time would win our stylish “Vancouver” tub chair. In the end, it was none other than Kevin Burke, member of the Irish Defence forces that took away the grand prize.
Not only did we carry out a number of give-aways, but we also had furniture expert Joanne Condon in-store providing interior styling tips. Joanne is also known as the “furniture queen” and has recently published her first book “Furniture Crush”. Joanne went live on her Instagram account showing off some of her favourite products whilst answering some of our customer's questions on the day. These questions involved how to style certain colours, choosing the right rug for your interior, and how to make the most out of your scatter cushions.
However, our favourite moment of the day was gifting Carol and Paddy Baker with our favourite dinnerware set, the “Sierra”. Carol informed us that they have been buying EZ Living Furniture since as long as it opened. The happy couple were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary so it only seemed fitting to supply this dishy couple with the dining ware they deserved!
Overall, it was a fantastic day that we couldn’t have made possible without our wonderful staff, and our supportive customers. So here’s to new beginnings on the Naas Road!
We cannot wait to see what’s ahead for us! We hope you can’t either!
